Unemployment by Municipality in Spain (2026)

Spain's unemployment rate has extraordinary dispersion: Arroyomolinos records 0.2% while Línea de la Concepción, La reaches 29.7%. A gap of nearly 30 points within the same labour market. Data comes from SEPE and is updated monthly.

The pattern is consistent: north and east have the lowest rates, the south concentrates the highest. The Balearic Islands top the low-unemployment ranking — a direct effect of tourism. Andalusia and Castile-La Mancha concentrate most municipalities with rates above 15%.
